For those who have been keeping up with me on twitter, you know that I’ve been on a seemingly losing battle to watch Twelfth Night for Shakespeare in the Park for about a week now. (I’ve also been trying to get tickets to HAIR during that time, also a losing battle.) My sister and I have yet to find a winning strategy, but at least you all can feel some of my pain by reading this and seeing what nonsense this experience has been. Maybe I’ll even write about the wonderful experience from this morning if I find some time later…
I must agree with the writer here: “Whether you wait five or 12 hours, you’ll likely end the day by reaching the conclusion that capitalism rocks, that you’d have preferred to spend $20 for a ticket, and that the imposition of democracy makes man ugly.”
