6576.) I hate blogged photos on Tumblr that are not linked to the original artists/sources.. I can’t stand to see that post get a hundred plus notes, liked and reblogged again without the original source being recognized.

3) It’s Tumblr. It’s not the Louvre. Not saying it’s right. Saying it’s part of the mechanism. You sound like an artist who is upset over your own work getting passed on. As an artist myself, I’ll remind other makers that if you want your work to maintain credit, watermarking it is the surest way.
As a PS, I often strip away names if there is a click-thru link. Good enough for me. If not, I’ll leave them. But I won’t feel bound to even doing that if the “original” poster omitted credit, too! What’s the point of crediting someone else on Tumblr who didn’t credit the artist themselves.
