The new promo poster for ‘LOST’ season 6, “The Final Season”
Not much has changed from the promo poster that was seen earlier this year, but this is now officially the promo art for ‘LOST’ season 6.

Posting the Season 6 LOST promo poster again. (Click to enlarge) As far as I can tell, from left to right, it’s:
Faraday, Boone, Miles, Michael, Ana Lucia, Charlotte, Shannon, Desmond, Eko, Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Locke, Ben, Sayid, Libby?????, Sun, Jin, Claire, Hurley, Juliet, Charlie I think?, I do not know but possible Lapidus?, Alpert, Benard, Rose.
So. They said that they were very deliberate. Which confuses me if that is Libby, because it would seem to me that Damon would have to be lying about something if it was. But no Danielle, no Christian (though I wouldn’t have expected either — I’m pretty excited to see Alpert!), no Penny of course, but the actress has said that she wants to come back … and just like with Alpert, I seriously do not know how we could finish this thing without Eloise or Widmore.
The other question would be: What do they mean by series regular? Do they mean “gets flashbacks” as I had assumed? Or do they mean “has appeared in multiple episodes in multiple seasons throughout the show”? Because if they actually mean the latter, god help us in figuring it out who doesn’t fit into that category … and also who really cares?

Some of the faces aren’t exactly crystal clear, but that woman doesn’t really look like Libby other than the fact that it seems she might be blonde. And if it is, then maybe by “deliberate” Damon doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll be in the season. Maybe it’ll turn out that something she already did will be significant?
I think more often than not, Damon is straight up with fans about things. If he doesn’t want us to know something, he doesn’t tell us of course, but he doesn’t usually straight up lie.
Anyway, I think it bothers me more that this woman doesn’t look like anybody (doesn’t look human, at least) than whether or not it’s meant to be Libby.

On second thought…
Most (all?) of these stills come from other season promo posters. The only season promo poster she was on was season 2, and in that poster, you can barely see her face/head, let alone the rest of her body. That would explain why this picture doesn’t look at all human. (She’s also positioned the opposite way though which is weird… does that mean it’s NOT her?) And this is what happens, without fail. I get caught up in a world of stills and posters, or statues and Egyptian mythology, or time travel and paradoxes. It just doesn’t end. LOST, why do you do this to me?!
See, I can accept that it might not be Libby — though honestly, looking at that Season 2 promo, the picture up above totally looks like it could be an outtake from that exact same shot, only flipped — but the question remains, who is it? The thing is, I couldn’t think of absolutely anybody else that it could be. Now I could just be forgetting someone, of course. But to become convinced that it’s not Libby, I really am going to have to become convinced that it’s someone else.
And while we’re on the subject, what do you think of the potentially but quite possibly not Lapidus dude? Who is that?
Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s Lapidus. It’s hard to tell… He looks kinda crazed, so that caught me off guard. My guess is that because he isn’t in any of the other promo posters, they just got a shot of him from the show which is why he doesn’t look human either lol
As for Libby, I guess it must be her because I just can’t think of anybody else it is. And I suppose it does look like it might be from the same shoot. But geez louise, couldn’t they find another picture of her?! One where she looks like a human and not some strange art school painting?
