I had a random thought earlier about Harry Potter, if Voldemort cursed the defense against the arts postion till he could teach it(I believe) then he was attached to Quirell while he was teaching it wouldn’t/shouldn’t that have that broken the curse?
I believe I’m right about that’s what the curse was but I haven’t read it in a while

I don’t think the curse worked that way. It wasn’t that the position was cursed until Voldy could be the DADA professor, it was just cursed because he was initially turned down. By that point, he knew he wasn’t going to be the professor anyway and he quickly decided that world domination was his ultimate goal lol.
