An alternate timeline where she survives? I don’t think that’s it…
I don’t see how the fact that characters who died have been confirmed for the last season means that they’re all suddenly going to be alive. That seems a bit too… unsatisfying. Seems very “it was all a dream” to me.
When I saw his tweet, I assumed he meant she was back in flashbacks. Or as a ghost of the island or something.
What do I know though?
Well, there is the theory — and what with all of these actors coming back, it’s starting to look more and more compelling — that Juliet setting off the bomb will have actually worked and this season is going to open up at LAX. (And, after all, the season premiere is apparently titled “LA X”.) I have no idea how the fuck that would work, and I can’t claim to like the idea (I’m more confused by it), but I’m not sure it can be ruled out as a possibility at this point …
Ohh… yes… this sounds vaguely familiar from the season finale. Yeah, I don’t like that idea. Not only is that not a satisfying enough ending, but to have it happen on the season premiere seems early, no? Because then they’d just need, what, maybe 4 or 5 episodes to explain this new timeline and discount the other timeline(s). What would happen for the rest of the series?
UGH! This season needs to start already! My head just hurts too much…
