Why Chally is Awesome — The Beginnings of a List
Chally will smooth over things that have gotten heated to a point that you can only cry because you are hurting so much.
Chally says things like “What the pancake?” that are so cute that you can’t help but adopt it into your own lexicon.
Chally has a way with words that will cut to the quick of an issue with a sauciness that leaves you sputtering and wondering what just happened.
She is aware of all internet traditions…
She is the semicolon milkshake, the alpha to the omega, the lemon curd to the English muffin.
She is, like, you want to say something REALLY MEAN and you run it by her and somehow she manages to rephrase it in a way which is fit for polite society, thus preventing you from saying something REALLY MEAN which you might regret later.
She recommends interesting books to read and makes pictures of David Tennant appear in my dashboard, as though by magic.
She comes from the future.
Seriously, Chally is the definition of awesomeness! Her writing is incredible and has gotten even better with time. She loves cute, quirky things just like me! Her name rhymes with Sally. What more can you ask for?
Of course, I think the awesomest thing about her is that she’s been there for me during really weird times, perhaps without knowing it. Being able to have a friend halfway around the world is cool, but having it be Chally is even cooler.
One day, she will visit NYC and I will make her stay with me and we will bake and bake and bake til we can’t bake anymore and all of you will be jealous.
