It was actually hard for me to choose between Wicked and In the Heights.
Wicked is awesomely awesome. I love the songs, the story, the theatrics.
But…
In the Heights has a cultural significance to me that is really rather difficult to compete with. And, okay, I don’t love EVERY song the way I do with Wicked, but the great songs are just as good, if not better, than the Wicked songs.
So, yeah, y’all should vote for In the Heights. The little Broadway musical that could.
